The Pirates of Penzance at Furman University

On Friday, February 17th, and Sunday, February 19th, 2022, Furman University’s Sarah Reese Lyric Theater presents The Pirates of Penzance in collaboration with the Furman Symphony Orchestra. Scott Johnson will play the role of Frederic.

W.S. Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan’s composition is a classic of the operetta genre. Filled with humor, satirical agonizing over the whims of fate, and a great amount of fun, Pirates is a consistent favorite among audience members of all ages. Tickets will be available from the Furman Music office in the months leading up to the event.
